Marriage was noted in the "London Weekley Magazine" - "Edinburgh, Sept 25. Last week Mr. maxwell, a Gentleman, late from the West Indies, where he acquired a considerable Fortune, was married to Miss Hairstanes, an agreeable young Lady."1,2
