Obituary* | Mrs. Robert Patty's Death. Mrs. Ella Campbell Patty, relict of the late Hon. R. C. Patty, died at the home of daughter, Mrs H. G. Small, in Corinth, Miss., last Wednesday, and her remains were interred in the Odd Fellows cemetery Thursday afternoon. Funeral services at the Presbyterian church bv Dr. Jones were held before i the burial. It has been a good many years since Mrs. Patty had her home in Macon but her family and herself have always been strongly identified wiih this city, and a great many of our people still retain feelings of warm friendship and regards for her. She is survived by four children, E. C. Patty, of Corinth, Y. B. Patty, of Macon, Mrs. W. F. Ferris, Jr., of Corinth, and Mrs. Harry Small, of Corinth. All were present at the funeral Thursday. Mrs. Patty, nee Campbell, was born at Hamburg, Tenn., and was married to the late Robert C. Patty at LaGrange Tenn., in November, 1869. Macon Beacon, Macon, Mississippi, October 1, 1915, page 5. |
