Anne POLLARD

HAIRSTON.org ID#1730
Marriage*Anne POLLARD married Constantine PERKINS, son of Nicholas PERKINS and Sarah CHILDERS; "The long-held claim that the first wife of Constantine Perkins was Ann Pollard has not been substantiated by any
documentary evidence yet found. The Joseph Pollard to whom Constantine and Ann Perkins deeded land in 1754
died in Goochland County in 1792. This date of death would indicate that he was of a later generation than Constan
tine and Ann Perkins. It has been claimed that Ann Pollard was the daughter of Stephen Pollard and Ann Hughes
and that the Pollard family came from King and Queen County. As the records of King and Queen County have been
destroyed, the evidence to support the claims will probably never be found."1
