WillIn Hardin HAIRSTON's will dated 29 September 1862 in Lowndes, Mississippi, Robert Andrew HAIRSTON was named as an heir; Hardin Hairston left a will dated 29 September 1862, Lowndes County Courthouse, Mississippi, Will Book 1, page 122. PDF transcript and a copy of will attached.7
Death*He died on 11 November 1864 at age 34. "Died 11th November 1864 7 O'Clock in the morning" - from Harden Hairston Bible.1 
Probate*His estate was probated in July 1866 in Greene, Alabama. Mary Hays Hairston was appointed the executor of her husband Robert's estate on 14 December 1864 and did an inventory of the estate on the 18th December 1864. Mary Hays Hairston died on 28 February 1865 before she finished administering the estate of her husband. Charles Hays was appointed the administer.

Robert's children Percy and Ada were minors and there a guardian papers filed in the court.

In the papers Robert is mentioned as Robert H. and Robert A.6
ProbateHe was mentioned in the probate of the estate of George HAIRSTON on 6 June 1885 in Lowndes, Mississippi; George Hairston died without a will.
