She also mentions John A. Hairston, Robert T. Woods and son-in-law Samuel Rowland. Executors, and friends, are John A. Hairston, Robert T. Woods and Landis P. Court RecordOn 11 December 1837, the land Powhatan Hunter dec'd. inherited from his mother, Martha "Patsy" Hairston Hunter Greenlee, is disputed in Henry County Chancery Court. The determines the land is to be divide into six equal parts; #1 Polly (Hunter) Bassett, #2 Patsy Rowland alias Gray, #3 William Matthews and Elizabeth Mathews, #4 Samuel Burks and wife Camelia Burks, #5 John A. Hairston (purchased land from Peyton Hunter), #6 John A. Hairston (purchased land from Alexander Hunter). - Henry County Minute Book 2, page 331. FSL #8098390 image 170.
Death*Mary "Polly" HUNTER died about 1866 in Missouri.
