William Hairston died Sunday at his home at 146 Evergreen street opposite the Evergreen Cemetery.

He was an oil worker, was born in Mississippi and was 72 years old.

Funeral services are to be hel at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Wessendorf Mortuary and W. W. Bloyd will read the Christian Science serviec.

Interment will be at Odd Fellows cemetery.
