ProbateSamuel WHITNEY received property in John WHITNEY's will on 9 February 1839 in Allen, Kentucky; On 9 February 1839, the 28 heirs of John Whitney dec'd. sell 149 acres in Barren County to Thomas Harston for $60. The heirs of John Whitney mentioned were: John & Agnes Martin, Loammi Whitney, Samuel Whitney, Uraih Whitney, Thomas Whitney, John Whitney and 12 heirs of Jeremiah Whitney, deceased. - Allen County Deed Book F page 435.
