Birth*Catherine Caty VAUGHAN was born about 1776 in Virginia.1 
Marriage*She married Thomas DRAKE on 12 August 1802 in Brunswick, Virginia. A Joshua Vaughan attested to Caty Vaughan's age. In her Revolutionary War pension Catherine states that Thomas Drake was previously married in 1793 and had children by that marriage.2
Property*On 27 January 1824 Catherine Drake sold a negro boy named Joseph to Rachael Marten in Bedford County. - FSL #8150799 image 826.
Census 1840*Catherine Caty VAUGHAN appeared on the census of 1840 in Bedford, Tennessee, Catherine Drake - Males under 5 1, Females 5-9 1, 10-14 1, 20-29 1, 50-59 1.1 
Census 1850*She appeared on the census of 1850 in Coffee, Tennessee. Catherine Drake 75 is living with George and Elvira Drake and their children.3 
Death*She died about 1853 in Bedford, Tennessee. 
NOTE*GENEALOGY NOTES: There is a Sally Vaughan (44 VA, born c1806) in the 1850 census of Bedford County, TN. She has children named John (25 TN, c1825), Catharine (22TN, c1828), William (18TN,c1832), Polly (15TN, c1835) and James (8TN, c1842).

There is a Caty Vaugh and her daughter Martha mentioned in the 1806 will of John Zachary (Henry Will Book 2, p. 133 FSL 7645134 image 257).3
