James VAUGHAN Jr. was the son of James VAUGHAN.1 
WillJames VAUGHAN Jr. was mentioned in the will of James VAUGHAN on 20 July 1740 in Brunswick, Virginia; The will of James Vaughan was recorded in Lunenburg County on July 3, 1750. James Vaughan mentions sons Reuben, Stephen and James and a daughter Luce. A wife's name is not mentioned. Lunenburg County Virginia Deed Book 1, page 484, Family History Library Film 007898594, image 258. 
Tax Rolls*Virginia Tax Payers 1782-1787 lists the following tax payers named Vaughan in Brunswick County - David, George, James, Richard, William, William Jr., and Willis. Some men did not have to pay taxes if they were indigent, had physical disabilities or were exempt due to political or military service.2
