Obituary*Death of Robert C. Patty.
It was with great grief that the people of Macon heard of the sudden death of Mr. Rob. Patty. He died at Troupe, Texas on the 17th instant, and his remains were brought to Macon and interred in the Odd Fellows cemetery, in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends.

Mr, Patty was a man well liked by all who knew him and loved by those who knew him intimately. His kindliness of heart and charm and courtesy of manner won the liking, and his strong and sterling qualities the respect of all. He was loyal and true and just and generous. His memory will be warmly cherished by those who knew him as a boy and as a man.
