Patrick Martin mentions "One Hundred twenty acres of land that was bequeathed to his wife by her father George Straight prior to marriage".

NOTE*NOTE: The will of Robert Sinclair mentions Nancy Martin the wife of Patrick Martin of Newberry District. The petition of Patrick Martin to be a citizen mentions his wife's father George Straight. Therefore it appears that Patrick Martin's wife is Nancy Straight Martin. There is also a record of a Patrick Martin (there are several) marrying an Agnes Strait in 1789.
