Property1742 Brunswick County - 871 acs. on both sides of Flatt Rock Creek, on a great br. & near Falls; 30 Jul 1742, p.356. 570 acs. part formerly granted to Hannah Rains by Patent on 28 September 1732 [Hannah Raines, PB 14 p.509] and 301 acs. the Residue formerly granted to Samuel Moody by Patent 10 June 1737 [PB 17 p.347] and then sold and conveyed unto the said Broadnax.4 
Death*Edward BRODNAX died before 1769.2
