Death*Capt. William LETCHER died on 2 August 1780 in Patrick, Virginia.1,2. He was shot and died in front of his wife Elizabeth by a Tory named Nichols Hall. A recount of this event is attached. -->
Burial*He was buried in Laurel Hill - Jeb Stuart Birthplace, Patrick, Virginia.
