Census 1860Emanuel Rolzymon SHELBY appeared on the 1860 census of John Milton SHELBY on 17 September 1860 in District 7, Shelby, Tennessee; John M Shelby 54 (blacksmith), Amanda F 47, Margaret A 16, Amandas R 26 (male), Narcapa N 14, Daniel G 11, John B 9, Charles S 6, James M 20 (John and Amanda born in NC, all others in Tennessee).3

Death*Emanuel Rolzymon SHELBY died on 13 May 1864 at age 30.2 
Burial*He was buried in Raleigh Cemetery, Shelby, Tennessee.2 
Probate*His estate was probated after 14 May 1864 in Shelby, Tennessee. Case #2175, Loose Probate Papers, 1864, Shelby County. Papers many relate to appointment of guardian for Ada R. Shelby, a minor.4 
WillHe was mentioned in the will of John Milton SHELBY on 27 September 1870.
