Obituary* | CABELL HAIRSTON, JR. - DEATH AT WALNUT COVE Walnut Cove, Oct. 14. - Mr. Cabell hairston, Jr., passed away Thursday P. M. at 4:20 o'clock, with meningitis, aged 34 years and 10 months. His symptoms were not considered serious until early Sunday morning when he became unconscious and his friends and relatives were notified of his alarming illness. The funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Vaughn hotel by Rev. A.C.D. Noe, of Mt. Airy, interment being made in the Stokesburg burying ground. The deceased leaves a father, Mr. Cabell Hairston, and 3 sisters, Misses Loulie and Willie Hairston, of Manatee, Florida, and Mrs. Frank Dunkley, of Winston-Salem, N.C., besides other relatives to mourn their loss.
